Task Force Work with Schools on Anti-Bullying Programs:
The SASTF will support established anti-bullying problrams through the following work:
• Support student groups that aim to change the school climate through diversity training, cultural education, and other inclusive practices.
• Support parents by establishing a working relationship with parent organizations to provice assistance in addressing student needs.
• Support school administrators in determine dareas of need through agreed upon activities.

Task Force Purpose: Our purpose is to advocate for and support those within the school system. Our mission is to work with students and student organizations, parents and parent organizations, and schools and their administrations to promote an inclusive and safe environment for all students.

In the wake of the horrendous mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglass High School in Florida, we must declare #ENOUGH and #STANDUP to keep our children and school personnel safe from further gun violence. The following local actions are being planned:
Legislative Forum-Davenport: March 3rd from 10:00am to Noon. Forum will be held in the Madison School auditorium, 116 Locust in Davenport. Check back for more details.
#ENOUGH National School Walkout-Quad Cities: March 14th at 10am for 17 minutes to honor each of the 17 people killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglass High School. Check back for more details.
